Kansas Resident Wins Gatorade National Player of the Year

Gradey Dick is a 6’7’, 196 pound small-forward. He is from Wichita, Kansas, and is committed to play basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks, the reigning champs. Mr. Dick just won the national player of the year, and is ranked 8th in the nation according to ESPN. He attends Sunrise Christian Academy out of Wichita, Kansas. He was a member of the gold-medal winning Under-18 U.S. team at the 3-on-3 World Cup, last summer. Dick has a very well rounded ball-game.

In his free time, Mr. Dick volunteers at a local food pantry and shelter for the homeless, and also serves as a middle school math tutor twice a week for the past two years. Dick also donated his time to the Special Olympics, Sunrise Christian Academy Basketball Camps, the Buddy Hield Basketball Camp, and was also a guest speaker and coach for younger students at school during his lunch period. Gradey Won this year’s National Gatorade player of the year award. The National Gatorade Player of the Year award is awarded to 1 player nationwide who is considered to be the best player in the country. 

Gradey Dick is a very special person, and has great things ahead of him. He is one to keep your eye on in the future.
