My Spring Break

by Kooper Tichenor

I recently just went to Arizona for spring break. I go to Arizona every year for spring break to watch my dad work spring training baseball. My family and I go down for the whole week and relax and have fun together. We used to Air BnB, but now we bought a house in Goodyear and we stay there on our trips. I try to go to all the games with my dad and watch, but my mom and siblings only go to a few.

On Saturday my mom, sister, and I flew to Dallas then to Arizona. On Sunday, my dad, brother and I went to a NASCAR race and we really enjoyed it, and it was super loud. On Monday, we chilled and had Chick-Fil-A, and went and swam at the pool. On Tuesday, we went shopping at the mall, and I got a few things to wear. Then, I went to the pool and hung out. On Wednesday, we had family pictures at White Tail Mountain. Then we went and ate at Olive Garden.

On Thursday, my brother and I went and worked out, then went to brunch with my dad and sister. On Friday, my family and I ate with some good friends that live there after he got done with his first day of spring training. We ate at a wing place called Native Wings. On Saturday, my dad had his first game, and my mom, sister, and I went and watched him.

It was really good being back and watching baseball in person, again. On Sunday, we woke up  at 4am and had to fly to Dallas, then flew back into Garden City. We went to pick up my dog Macie, which I missed very much, then went home and took a nap. That was the end of my spring break, and I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back soon.

I strongly recommend going somewhere in Arizona. It is such good weather and it’s beautiful everyday. You would have a great time.
