His remarks were aimed at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a republican who has refused to directly answer questions about whether he has gotten the booster, or not. Trump’s remarks were also aimed at all politicians who refused to say whether they’ve received a booster shot.
In an interview with One America News, he said he has received his booster shot and has seen many politicians get asked in interviews whether they’ve got their third shot, or not.
Trump said, “They don’t want to say it because they’re gutless.” He also said, “You gotta say it, whether you had it or not. Say it. But the fact is that I think the vaccines saved tens of millions throughout the world. I’ve had absolutely no side effects.” Trump said that vaccines have saved millions of people from being hospitalized or even dying. “If they get it, they’re not going to hospitals for the most part and dying,” Trump said. “Before it was a horror, and now they’re not.”
A top Trump advisor who was not asked to speak about the topic, said that Trump was not upset with DeSantis, but he was just speaking his mind. What do you think about Trump throwing insults towards people who won’t own up to whether they’ve gotten the vaccine?
